How to get to Ses Salines from Palma de Mallorca
To get to Can Bonico Boutique Hotel in the town of Ses Salines, exit Palma heading south east. It takes approximately 40 minutes to cover the 50km separating Ses Salines from the island's capital.
The most common route is the Ma-19 towards Campos. Once you’ve passed the village, take the Ma-6101 which leads directly to Ses Salines.
The hotel is located on the main avenue of Ses Salines, making it very easy to find.

From Ses Salines, you can reach some of the most charming beaches and coves on the island of Mallorca, including Es Trenc, Es Carbó, Es Cargol and Cala Llombards, among many others.

This is probably one of the best known beaches in the area. It’s a long stretch of white sand with water so blue you’ll feel you're in paradise.
Es Trenc has become one of the most emblematic beaches in Mallorca, and it’s found approximately 13 minutes by car from Can Bonico.
Because it’s located next to a specially protected dune area, the last part of the route to Es Trenc can only be done on foot. However, the distance is small, so it’s easy to bring a cooler, parasol and other beach day essentials.

Es Carbó and Es Cargol are both unspoilt sandy beaches. These slices of paradise are just a few kilometres from our hotel.
They can be reached via a half-hour excursion that starts from Colonia de Sant Jordi and the Ses Salines Lighthouse, respectively.
Not only is the destination spectacular, but both walks are worth taking for the views you’ll enjoy en route.

This restaurant is found just 20 metres from Hotel Can Bonico (you can even see it from the main entrance). Its menu features top quality produce. However, one of its great attractions is the atmosphere it offers its customers.
Cassai restaurant is housed in a traditional Mallorcan house that’s more than 300 years old, where you can enjoy impressive interiors featuring plants and vintage decorative elements.

When you come out of our Boutique Hotel, you’ll find the restaurant Casa Manolo to the right. It’s also known as Bodega Barahona among locals, after the owner, Manolo Barahona.

Just outside Can Bonico, you’ll find another of the most authentic restaurants in Ses Salines. On Plaza San Bartomeu square sits Ca'n Estarellas, where you can enjoy delicious home cooking and the best selection of tapas.
Ca'n Estarellas is one of our hotel guests' favourite restaurants. The menu includes everything from pa amb olis (typical Mallorcan bread and oil), sandwiches, hamburgers and salads to fresh fish and top-quality meat.

Ca'n Xesquet is a bakery where you can taste typical bread from the island and pastries made using traditional recipes. It first opened its doors in 1923 and, since then, it has become an authentic landmark in the area.
